My Birthday Party...

I duck as a water balloon swooshes past my ear I make a run for it dropping my water balloons as I dive into the pool holding my breath. I hear a splash then see a dark figure move past me I run my water balloons all popped inside my shirt I fall and get pelted with water I surrender I yell then I hear my mum yell "sushi!" Everybody runs for the table shovelling food into there mouth when i get there theres 2 pieces left I grab them and shove them in my pocket laughing I eat the first I taste rubber and laugh I spit out something purple its a popped water balloon I laugh and lie down. Its nearing 4:00 time for all the fun to go slowly everybody's parents turn up they leave. Now its only me and Sheridan her mum turns up Sheridan asks her mum to do a backflip she does it was so cool now everybody's left its just me my mum say pack up time I walk around and pick up about 250 water balloons popped gahhh so boring...

Story Competition...

As I climb aboard the boat with my family, the boat sways violently Lilly grabs my leg and starts to whimper. “Are you ok I ask quietly?” “Yeah i'll be ok.” She lets go and goes to talk to Nicole. I walk to the captains headquarters and ask politely “how long is this trip going to take?” “approximately 4 weeks.” “OK thanks.” I walk back outside to see Lilly hugging Nicole's legs and the boat shaking violently I grab Jason and Lilly and go to our cabin sit them down and we talk for a bit I quietly whisper to Nicole that the trip takes 4 weeks she gasps. I look at my watch it's getting late I put the kids into bed and hop in myself so I don't keep them awake I fall and hit my head I wake up in a hospital bed swaying about as I look up and see the beautiful faces of Nicole, Lilly and Jason staring down at me I smile hazily and blink i'm still there this isn't a dream I sit up feeling woozy “how did this happen?” I ask “You fell out of bed daddy and hit your head and didn't wake up.” Says Lilly quietly “OK now what's the date Nicole?” I ask “17th May.” Nicole says I get out of bed and move to the deck the water is a dirty green and the air is thick and foggy. I wonder how the captain can see? I think to myself. Then Nicole asks “What happened”. Then I remember.


The ship began to rock side to side I woke up with a bang and start to get out but I fell off the top bunk I felt as though someone had grabbed my leg but and thats all I remember “What else happened? Try to remember!” Says Nicole but i've already pushed my brain to the limit I can't go much further. Suddenly the boat lurched to the side then dropped I grab hold of the side so does Nicole and the kids everybody's screaming the captain runs out onto the deck and yells “Nobody panic stay still we've hit a cave and the main sails broken we have to wait till morning to fix it so everybody just calm down and go into your cabins, and no sudden movements or we will sink understood?” “yes.” Someone murmured in a quiet voice.





We walk into the cabin to find our possessions scattered on the ground I pick up my stuff and place them in the suitcase looking around everybody's had the same idea they're picking up their items and putting them away. Suddenly the boat violently drops someone lets out a shrilling scream. Everybody's running around, my life flashed before my eyes, and everything went black I start gasping for air “were going down.” someone screams I swim for the top Nicole's thrashing around in the water. I try to see Lilly and Jason but they are nowhere to be seen! I dive under the water, the hum of the motor fills my ears then it goes dead I slowly open my eyes the salty water pours in it stings I shut them and feel a hand grab my leg I go back under grab the hand and hoist it up it's Jason he's about to pass out I put him on the nearest floating bunk bed he groans I dive back under searching for anything a strand of hair or item of clothing anything I see a finger I grab for it thrashing I pull it up it's Lilly I jump for joy forgetting to breath I put her on the bed with Jason the cabin slowly filling with more and more water I pull the bed over to the door it floats slowly, the room is filling by the second i'm gasping for breath I gone gone...

Homework Term 3 Giving :)

1st thing I did... Vacuuming... When my mum went for a walk I surprised her by doing the vacuuming without her asking she was so surprised she was really happy it gives me buzz now I think I might go help cook dinner now :)

2nd thing I did... Neighbours... My neighbours have two kids one is 3 and the other is 2 I played with them for 2 whole hours while there mum made dinner the also have a big golden retriever who is always getting its big head in the way so I distracted them all by making and obstacle course in there backyard by using chairs and the swings it was really fun there mum was so happy when she finished cooking there dinner she didn't know what to do because usually she would be busy looking after the kids or walking the dog so she sat down and for the rest of the 2 hours read her book how nice is that :)

3rd thing I did...Dinner...I helped my mum cook dinner I helped by toasting the toast and cooking the eggs i'm a good cook well I think I am because she isn't poisoned so I think I did an alright job :)

4th thing I did...Washing...When I walked into the lounge room all I could see was mounds piles and more of washing and somewhere in there was my mum so I sat down with her and started folding and to tell the truth I suck at folding washing honestly a pig could fold better than me but I know the thought was there so I helped anyway though i'm sure when I left the room I saw her refold all the washing I did I don't blame her :)

5th thing I did...Netball...My mums work has a netball team we play every thursday sometimes I jump in and help if there isn't enough players one time there was only 3 people from my mums work we had to get people that had just played a game to play and there was a tie but for each minute you delay the game you get a point taken away it took u 9 minutes to find enough players so we would have won if we found people more fast! :)

10th Homework Challenge Walkways

For this challenge I did the Boscabel residents walk I am very used to this walk as I have done it many times before I have made a hut down there and even pretended I was in the hunger games with my neighbour's it was so much fun after we were finished playing the game we went for a walk and found a paddock full of beautiful horses but none of them were brave enough to come up to the fence so we went away it was a long walk we were all sweating hard core but it was totally worth it !!!

9th Homework Challenge 10 X 10 Grid Under 2 mins.

I tried about 3 times then gave up it is impossible to do it under 2mins even my mum tried and her time was 2:34 my best time was 2:48...

8th Homework Challenge My Third Meal.

For my three course meal I cooked for my entree prawn kebabs for my main mince and noodles and my dessert apple crumble and cream :) Here are some pictures of me cooking...

Entree super tasty but next time try making your own bread !

Main: Zoe experimented with a cinnamon rub... that didn't quite work and the steak was slightly over-cooked but all in all we both ate it all, and the salad arrangement was very unique!

Dessert: Rich, chocolatey yumminess.

5th Homework Challenge Thai Students.

They arrived on the 12th of March there english names are Fran and Gam they are from Thailand and they were here for 6 weeks here are some of the things we did !

4th Homework Challenge Visit an Elderly Person.

I visited an elderly person lots of times and that elderly person is my 67yr old grandpa his house is like my second home he fixed my quad bike he also is a super good mechanic and I love him he is like my second dad he is so awesome he taught me lots he taught me how to fire a gun and how to ride a quad bike.

3rd Homework Challenge 20 Hour Famine.

Neve and I did the 20 hour famine it was super hard but we pulled through and we finished without eating ;) We also stayed up super late but when Neve fell asleep all hell broke loose she snored all night I even had to move back into my room !!! :)))

2nd Homework Challenge Run/Walk 60km.

It took me a very long time but in the end I walk/ran 60km !!! And I did it in 1 term because I took the first term off my homework it was so hard but i finally finished a week before our homework was due and once a week I walked 6km.....

My "Boring" Weekend !

In the weekend I went pinecone picking in the gully near my house we got 6 full bags ! It was so much fun my friend came over and helped me it was so fun we took toby down as well then after we went to her house and played with her neighbours !

On sunday I went to the Te Puna Quarry Park it was so fun but it took ages !

Production !

The production was so fun i really enjoyed it I would definitely go again ! It was way better than I thought it would be I would rate it a 9.5/10 it was very good my favourite character was Starman or Ed then my fav band was Labryinth !

Cross - Country

What place I came : 137 and im proud of it because last time I did cross country I came last ;(

How many kms it was : 3km ;(

I was sprinting to the finishing line sweating and gasping for breath as I crossed the finish line I got given a card the number was 137 I was so happy this was the best placing that I had ever come in any cross country.

Mothers Day !

My Book Review " Dogs "

The book I have been reading is a book called Dogs I you are a dog person then you will definitely enjoy this book it is about the canine family what they evolved from and what their heritage was and about how to look after a dog I would definitely recommend for dog lovers I would give it an 9 / 10

My Extraordinary Holidays

In the holiday I did many things but also I did things that I didn't want to do but enjoyed going to my grandparents the most because they have my quad bike there but I crashed it the last time I was there it really hurt I cracked my head against the kiwifruit post I cracked it I got a really bad headache after that but im really glad because I am going to make a hut down in the gully with a slide and everything and a bad thing happen I fell backwards off a swiss ball and sprained my wrist but im all better now :)
